I totally pulled a Russ, giving myself a 188 point advantage. Grr. Even worse, we had the models to make up the difference if only I had remembered Phillips models.

Truth to be told, I tried to tool each army up as much as possible to make them as even as possible. I was trying to get every army up to 1500. Not sure where the Goblins ended up.

Cheater! ;) Just kidding. It was a fun battle anyway. I would actually like to try it again to see how it works out when we remember more of the rules. For instance, I may not have lost the crewman on the cannon as early had we remembered the hit distribution for war machines. The miners may have had more of an impact by getting into melee with your main force. We may have made Rick's cannon blow up sooner by using the Engineer's re-roll. :P

Well, and with a slight points modification to make it more even.

Meanwhile, your next battle will be against the Dark Elves...Rick is working on an army, you might talk to him about what you want to play and how you want to play it.

Nice report, but your list has to many Special units in it with 5

I assume you refer to the Dwarf army...in this case it was intentional to try and give my other brother a chance to play his Dark Elves for the 1st time. Soon we will have enough figures for legit lists

lol i understand that - must have been a shock for him to see that many cannons though

It was a shock for me to see all those cannons, but far more shocking to see them do their work so effectively, wreaking havoc on my Cold One Knights, then breaking them, then wreaking more death on them. I will have my revenge you puny little bearded toads! ;)
