Need playtest opponent

Mucking around trying to come up with a more entertaining campaign since the initial response to the map-based version has been...well...mediocre at best. One thought was taking some of the Battletech source material and porting it over so I dug out my beloved The Falcon and the Wolf scenario pack. I think I can make it work but am not sure; there are 12 scenarios that rely on varying levels of troops and changing amounts of ammo. I would like to run through the 12 with troop status affecting Leadership and with ammo affecting Power Dice. A couple other changes. However, it would require some, for us, intense gaming and a commitment to playing about 12 games in just about 3 months, roughly a game a week. We can discuss game sizes. Anyone interested?

I'm surprised to hear that. Let me try again. YES! I want to do the OTHER campaign based on the Battle Book scenario's and Diplomacy Map, perhaps with a bit more emphasis on banners as from either the Warbands campaign or Samurai Swords. I think it sounds STELLAR! Yay-Ya!

Also, I think "ammo" in this preface would affect not just Magic, but troop types, as they fit as much into your gun-type/ammo as magic... like short range ammo would be foot troops, lascannons would be heavy mounted troops, etc. Don't really know, but a thought nonetheless... ;)

I don't think I've seen the campaign you mentioned. I may have more free time to play once school is finished in June, but until then, I basically only have the weekends we play WH and Poker. However, I am *definitely* interested in some sort of a campaign.

I also thought the WH campaign with the diplomacy map sounded cool. I probably cannot get in more than the one game a month we are already doing until I am out of school next year. Not sure if I will be able to then either, but it is much more likely.

Maybe we could do a campaign that starts off at Warband rules and progressively grows larger after each battle as the wars escalate. So basically upping the points by 250 each time after we do a few small Warband games.
